The low-lag nickel-titanium arch wire is a third element in the nickel-titanium alloy material,
so that the difference between the loading force and the unloading force of the arch wire is significantly reduced.
Clinically, when the low-lag nickel-titanium wire is incorporated into the bracket, it can release a stable and continuous correcting force, and the alignment effect is obvious.
Mainly divided into round wire and square wire:
Round wire / ROUND ARCHWIRES
The elasticity is better, and the friction between the bracket and the bracket is small, which is beneficial to the movement of the teeth,
so it is often used for correcting the initial stage and aligning the dentition.
Sqaure wire / RECTANGULAR ARCHWIRES
The square arch wire interacts with the bracket gap to help control the direction of movement of the teeth,
so the square arch wire is often used in the middle and later stages of the treatment.
